60-year-old Bruce Wayne, hiding from the world: the actor revealed details of the canceled sequel Batman: Arkham Knight
After the release of Batman: Arkham Knight in 2015, there were many rumors among fans about a sequel, but instead it was released by the disastrous Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League. But recently, actor Bruce Thomas confirmed that a sequel was indeed in development.
According to Thomas, he was supposed to voice the aged Bruce Wayne, who is 60 years old. The plan was to show Bruce broken and hiding from the world, with an injured leg and numerous scars on his face. The plot was supposed to center on Bruce's 25-year-old son, Damien Wayne. Thomas and Josh Keaton, Damien's voice actor, were able to film several scenes before the project was cancelled. In one scene, Bruce even taught his son to say the signature phrase “I am Batman.”
The project was developed by Warner Bros. Montreal, which created Arkham Origins. Following the cancellation of the sequel, the team focused on Gotham Knights.
