Announced a new game Open Roads - an adventure about difficult family relationships

Annapurna Interactive and Studio Fullbright (Gone Home, Tacoma) at The Game Awards 2020 announced an adventure Open Roadsabout the relationship between mother and daughter in trip through the Upper Midwest of the United States of America.

The roles are voiced by Kerry Russell (voice of Opal Devine, mother) and Caitlin Dever (voice of Tess Devine, 16-year-old daughter). After the death of their grandmother, the heroines will visit several old family properties and along the way they will reveal some secret, as well as learn about each other and improve their difficult relationship. According to Annapurna Interactive, Open Roads is a "unique" interactive adventure with "exciting" dialog system. Apparently, the gameplay of the project is based on communication.

Annapurna Interactive and Fullbright have built a reputation for quality independent games. The former released a number of indie hits such as Kentucky Route Zero, Outer Wilds, Telling Lies and Sayonara Wild Hearts. And Fullbright became famous for Gone Home and Tacoma.

Open Roads will release on PCand consolenext year.
