CD Projekt RED is preparing another unexpected update for Cyberpunk 2077

The Polish studio CD Projekt RED continues to develop Cyberpunk 2077, despite the end of official support. The company announced on social networks that the game will receive a new patch in the near future. Details of the update are still kept secret, but they are promised to be revealed at a special #REDstreams broadcast, which will take place on December 10, 2024.

As it became known, the game will receive update version 2.2. The exact list of changes has not yet been announced, but players can expect significant improvements or possibly new content. In September 2024, Cyberpunk 2077 already received patch 2.13, which added support for AMD FSR 3 and frame generation technology on PC. At the same time, the developers said that they do not plan to release special updates for the PS5 Pro. The new update will be universal for all platforms.

The live broadcast dedicated to the announcement of patch 2.2 will begin at 19:00 Moscow time. For the first time, it will be broadcast simultaneously on YouTube and Twitch. Viewers will be able to find out details about the new features and changes that await players in Cyberpunk 2077.
