Control receives a patch with new functions, costumes and mission with a voice acting Hideo Kojima

Remedy Entertainment made a pleasant surprise for fans of the science fiction action of Control. The developers have released a free update for all Control Ultimate Edition owners, which improves graphics, adds support for modern technologies and opens access to new content.

The update is already available on the PC in Steam and Epic Games Store, and will soon appear in the GOG. In the future, the patch will be released on the PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X | S, but the developers decided to release it in stages to avoid possible technical problems.

One of the main innovations was the addition of a mission Dr. Youshimi Tokui’s Guided Imagery Experience, in which Dr. Tokui says the voice of the famous game designer Hideo Codzima. Previously, this mission was exclusive for the digital Deluxe publication on the PlayStation 4.
