Eurogamer has confirmed that the game director of Dragon Age: The Veilguard is leaving BioWare studio

Today there were rumors that the head of development of Dragon Age: The Veilguard, a trans woman, Corinne Boucher, has left the BioWare Edmonton studio, who has now decided to “focus on new projects and tests”:

Eurogamer confirmed that Boucher is indeed leaving the studio - she will be leaving the studio in the coming weeks. She worked on Dragon Age: The Veilguard from early 2022 until the game's final release in October last year. However, unlike previous rumors, according to Eurogamer, there are no plans to completely close the studio - BioWare Edmonton will continue to work.

The publication reports that after Dragon Age: The Veilguard, the entire team switched to developing the next Mass Effect , which up to this point had been made by a small team of studio veterans.
