Even AMD was surprised by how bad the new Intel processors turned out
As it became known, during the ongoing CES 2025 exhibition, Tom's Hardware managed to talk with AMD top manager Frank Azor.
The journalists asked him about the current situation with the shortage of the 9800X3D processor. Oddly enough, AMD calls Intel "guilty" in short supply. AMD admits that even they did not expect how bad the Intel competitor would turn out:
According to a number of tests, the Ryzen 7 9800X3D is the fastest processor for games, beating all competitors by a large margin: like previous AMD flagships, as well as the latest line of CPUs from Intel, which in some cases turned out to be even slower than previous generations of Intel processors.
