The major gaming forum NeoGAF conducted a poll about the worst generation of PlayStation, in which the PS5 received more than 69% of the votes. By comparison, the PS3, which was previously considered one of the most problematic generations, received 25%, and the PS1, PS2 and PS4 together received less than 6%.

Criticism intensified after the cancellation of between 8 and 12 projects for the live service. and the failure of the expensive Concord game, which reportedly cost Sony $400 million. Players do not understand why management spent precious studio time and money on these projects.
