Famous Hollywood actor Keanu Reeves, whom many know from the films of the John Wick series. and "The Matrix", decided to take an unexpected break from his acting career and take up a new hobby - motorsport. He decided to become a racing driver and take part in the professional Toyota Gazoo Racing GR Cup North America race in the USA. To prepare for serious competitions in the world of motorsports, the actor trained on an advanced gaming simulator, which accurately simulated the behavior of the car and the features of the Indianapolis Motor Speedway track.
The race has already ended, and we can safely say that Keanu Reeves showed himself worthy . The actor managed to get himself into excellent shape in the shortest possible time and during the race avoided a serious accident, completing the race before the final lap. At one point, his car spun and he almost flew off the track, but Reeves demonstrated that he was in complete control of the situation and continued the race. In the end, he took 25th place out of 35, which is a pretty good result for a newcomer.
In these competitions, the actor reportedly competed on behalf of the Eagles Canyon Racing by Fast Track team and was driving a modified version of Toyota GR86. His car received a themed livery inspired by the graphic novel BRZRKR, which Reeves is personally working on.
