"There is no need to rush" - the creators announced that The Blood of Dawnwalker will not have a strict time limit
Earlier this week, Rebel Wolves, a studio made up of former CD Projekt RED developers, revealed their debut game, The Blood of Dawnwalker. After showing a short snippet of gameplay and a CGI cinematic, the team revealed quite a few gameplay details.
It was revealed that the game's protagonist, Cohen, will have 30 days and 30 nights to save his family. Players were concerned that time in the game would be limited and that everything would have to be done in a hurry. On social media, the studio clarified how the quest structure works and how game time is handled.
One user commented that they didn't want to be forced to rush the game, and the developers responded that there was no need to rush, so how exploration of the world does not occur in real time, and does not advance it forward.
Although each completed task will advance time forward, Mateusz Greiner, senior communications officer at Rebel Wolves, confirmed that the player will be notified if the action moves time forward. This also doesn't mean the game will end once the 30-day mark is reached.
Blood of Dawnwalker has no release date yet, but the game has been confirmed for PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC.< /p>
