The developers announced a new release date for the game Far Cry 6

Microsoft Store has published a new release date for Far Cry 6. According to the store, the project will be released on May 26, 2021. This reported on the page of the shooter. The information is the same in the American and Russian Microsoft stores. The Ubisoft Store has no specific release date yet.

The new date corresponds to fiscal year 2021 starting April 1, 2021. Ubisoft CEO Yves Guillemot called the initial delays a pandemic:

These two games could have been launched [on schedule] without COVID, of course.

Given that the pandemic continues, this may be worth keeping in mind, and, as always, any leak of information should be taken with a grain of salt. 

The game will be available on PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X and S, PC and Google Stadia.
