
Rockstar published systemic requirements for the updated version of Grand Theft Auto 5 on PC
Rockstar reported that the Nekst-Gen Update for the Grand Theft Auto 5 PC version will be released on March 4. This patch will bring new trace effects that will be exclusive to the PC. In addition, it will add support for NVIDIA DLSS 3 and AMD FSR 3.0.
As Rockstar noted, GTA 5 on PC will support RTGI and RTAO, as well as reflection and shadows with rays trace (which were available on consoles) . Moreover, the team will add DirectStorage support. Thus, gamers on a PC can expect a faster load using SSD. In addition, the patch will add an improved sound with Dolby Atmos support and improved accuracy of speech, cat-scenes and music.
Rockstar also shared the requirements for the PC for this update of the next generation GTA5. According to them, gamers on the PC at least need Intel Core i7 4770 or AMD FX 9590 with 8 GB of RAM and NVIDIA GTX 1630 or AMD Radeon RX 6400. Such a PC configuration will allow you to launch the game without its effects RT.
Developers recommend using Intel Core i5-9600K or AMD Ryzen 5 3600 with 16 GB of RAM and NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3060 or AMD Radeon RX 6600XT. You will also need 105 GB of free space on the disk.
