Sales of the remake of Resident Evil 4 exceeded 10 million copies, and Capcom noted this with a funny video

Capcom announced that sales of the remake of Resident Evil 4 exceeded 10 million copies around the world. This is a record result - the game became the most quickly sold in the history of the entire series.

Back in January 2025, nine million copies sold were reported, which means that in three months the game diverged by another million. The remake was released on March 24, 2023 on the PlayStation 5, Xbox Series, PlayStation 4 and PC, and in December - on Mac, iPhone 15 Pro and iPad.

Resident Evil 4 is a modern rethinking of the 2005 cult hit. The game retained the spirit of the original, improving the gameplay and the visual part, which brought it recognition of critics and players, as well as many awards.

Capcom also notes the success of other parts of the franchise: Resident Evil 7 and Resident Evil 2 were sold by a circulation of more than 15 million copies, Resident Evil Village - more than 11 more millions, and the Resident Evil 3 reached 10 million.
