Survey showed that more than 80% of gamers do not want to buy a PS5 Pro for GTA 6

GTA 6 is one of the most anticipated games scheduled for release this decade. Therefore, many users in the community are looking for the best platform that can realize the huge potential of the game. However, now that the PS5 Pro has finally been announced, the latest statistics show that not many players are as excited about the purchase as originally thought.

Following the announcement, sentiment around the new PS5 model was quite mixed, as it costs quite a bit Expensive for the average gamer. These variables have had a major impact on the number of players willing to buy it exclusively for GTA 6.

A new poll from Twitter user @Okami13_ has confirmed that over 80% of the community are not willing to upgrade to the PS5 Pro for GTA 6. The poll suggests that Rockstar's new magnum opus will only run at 30 fps - the same as the base PS5 - with ultra graphics settings, along with higher resolution and ray tracing.

The results are heavily skewed towards not buying a PS5 Pro just for the sake of GTA 6, as the improvements in specs probably won't be worth it for many gamers. Many of those who voted in the survey think the $700 price tag is too steep, while others already own a PS5 or a well-built PC.

The assumptions made in the survey are also worth considering, as many claim that GTA 6 may not even reach ultra settings on PS5 Pro. Digital Foundry has also confirmed that the PS5 Pro will not be able to run the game at 60 frames per second, so the odds are against this upcoming console.
