The authors of Cyberpunk 2077 thanked players for their patience and rave reviews on Steam four years after release

More than four years after its highly controversial release, CD Projekt RED's Cyberpunk 2077 has passed a major milestone: the game has received a "Highly Positive" review rating on Steam. This moment became a symbol of recognition of the efforts of the developers, who, since the release of the project, have faced a wave of criticism and challenges.

December 2020 became a real test for the studio: many bugs, technical problems and failure to meet expectations caused a flurry of negative reviews. Some players even called for the developers to be “canceled.” However, CD Projekt RED did not give up and continued to actively work on improving the game.

Over the years, the game received many patches, content updates and a major addition, Phantom Liberty. These efforts did not go unnoticed: as one of the developers Pavel Sasko noted, “a dream that seemed impossible became a reality.”
