The HD Reworked Project NextGen Edition mod for The Witcher 3 will be released on November 23

Modder Halk Hogan PL has announced that a new version of his HD Reworked Project NextGen Edition for The Witcher 3 will be released on November 23, 2024. To celebrate the announcement, the modder shared a new comparison video. This video compares the upcoming high-quality textures in Novigrad that will be featured in the pack with the vanilla ones that The Witcher 3 Next-Gen uses.

The Witcher 3 HD Reworked Project improves the game with high-end textures that look great look and run smoothly without requiring more video memory. The package will include high quality, accurate normal maps, many of which are made from detailed 3D models. The project also adds improved LODs for objects.

The modder claims that the HD Reworked NextGen Edition will have high-quality textures using a new rendering technique implemented in the Next-Gen version of the game. Thanks to this, many textures in HDRP NextGen Edition will be much more realistic.
