The premiere of the second season The Last of US

The premiere of the second season of The Last of US, based on the same name from the Naughty Dog game, took place on the MAX streaming service. The new season received a warm reception: it has 83 out of 100 points on Metacritic, and on Rotten Tomatoes - 93% of “freshness.”

The plot covers The Last of Us Part II events, which unfold five years after the final of the first season. The heroes have to face pain, cruelty and revenge. Pedro Pascal, Bella Ramsi and Kaitlin Diver played the roles of Joel, Ellie and Abby, respectively.

Scriptwriters and directors of individual series became Craig Maine and Neil Drakmann. Critics noted that the season turned out to be gloomy, emotionally saturated, but not completed - it covers only the first half of the game.

The project has already extended for the third season.
