The well-known insider and journalist Tom Henderson released a material in which he examined Ubisoft from the point of view of a potential investor, and also touched upon the company's prospects. Henderson called the French publisher one of the worst gaming companies to invest in:

According to Henderson, years of mismanagement, excessive costs and a generally simple lack of communication with players have led Ubisoft to where the company's future is now hangs by a thread and depends entirely on sales of the extremely controversial Assassin's Creed: Shadows.

In a few months it should finally become clear what awaits Ubisoft. But apparently, nothing good. In turn, players believe that Ubisoft is simply trying to delay the inevitable (bankruptcy/sale of the company/sale of franchises), so yesterday it once again postponed the game for a month:
