Far Cry 6 won't have ray tracing on PS5 and Xbox Series
In a short interview WCCFTech head of the 3D programming team Stephanie Brenham noted that Far Cry 6 will not get ray tracing support on the Xbox Series and PS5.
According to her, Ubisoft wanted to achieve 60 fps and 4K resolution, without bothering with alternate modes.
Additionally, next-gen consoles will feature high-resolution textures, extended draw distance, and a number of other graphical improvements over the PS4 and Xbox One versions.

At the same time, the key gameplay features of the sixth part, such as dynamic weather changes, will be available on all platforms.
As a reminder, Far Cry 6 will be released on PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One and Xbox Series on October 7. Previously, the creators showed several fresh videos with the participation of the dictator Anton Castillo, whose role was played by Giancarlo Esposito.
