The Famisu publication shared data regarding the start sales of Assassin ' S Creed: Shadows from Ubisoft in Japan.

As it turned out, the French publisher in the debut week (from March 17 to 23) was able to sell only 17 thousand copies of the game. The game started from the fifth place in the chart, losing to a number of other new products and Monster Hunter Wilds.

The result looks not too impressive. For example, starting sales of another Western action in the open world about Japan, Ghost of Tsushima from Sucker Punch, compiled 212 thousand copies at one time, which looks like a complete defeat of Shadows.
