American actor Val Kilmer died at the age of 65 in Los Angeles. He passed away on March 28, 2025, pneumonia was the cause of death. In 2014, Kilmer was diagnosed with throat cancer, but thanks to timely treatment, he was able to defeat the disease.

Kilmer began his career in the theater in 1981, and on the screens he made his debut in 1984 in the comedy film “Top Secret!”. The role of Lieutenant Tom “Iisman” Kazan in the film “Top Gan” (1986) brought him wide fame, where he played with Tom Cruise.

In 1991, he played the role of rock musician Jim Morrison in the biographical film of Oliver Stone “Dors”. However, for many spectators, Batman in the film “Batman Forever” (1995), where Kilmer became the first actor to play a dark knight in a lighter and more dynamic tone, was his most significant way. For this role, he received a fee of $ 7 million.
