Destiny 2: The Witch Queen fans excited after teaser

Earlier this month, Bungie teased a new piece of art for the upcoming Destiny 2 expansion with the Witch Queen.

Although it's a small image, it has set the Guardian community on fire with excitement that we're heading to Old Chicago.

So what is Old Chicago and why are players hyping its return so much?

Let's get this over with.

First things first, let's look at the render itself.

You can see a few small changes to the Hunter's helmet in the image below, changes that were seen from the previous teaser in earlier concept art.

You can also see the amazing background behind the main character.

While one could argue that the background looks like it could potentially be EDZ or Nessus, most players are fairly confident that this means we're back in Old Chicago span>, to the swamps.

The Old Chicago Swamps have been referenced in the past in the series' developing history, but it has never been a physical location that the Guardians would visit.

But that could change.
