Early access to Assassin's Creed Shadows canceled

Assassin's Creed Shadows was supposed to be released on November 15, but now Ubisoft has officially announced that purchasing the Assassin's Creed Shadows Collector's Edition will no longer give players early access to the new action game - owners of this edition will be able to begin the adventure along with everyone on February 14.

The season pass, which allowed players to download add-ons for Shadows at no additional cost, was also removed from the edition.

Changes in the content of the Collector's Edition also affected the price, which decreased from almost $300 to $229.

Ubisoft also warned that the design of the figure, steelbook, artbook and other contents of the Collector's Edition may change.

Further scandals in this area could be the final nail in the matter the coffin of this game from a PR point of view.
