Even an 80% discount could not interest players in purchasing the failed Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League
Ahead of the premiere of the Penguin series, which will take place on September 19, Warner Bros. organized a promotion on Steam, launched a special sale on Steam, within which games featuring Batman received big discounts.
Among them was the failed Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League, released in early 2024 with low ratings and sales. And although the game can now be bought at 80% cheaper, this still did not help to interest new users.
Based on SteamDB data, for a long time the peak online game did not rise above 200 players (sometimes their number did not reach and 100). Only on September 15 it grew to 500, and at the moment there are only 209 people in the game.
It turns out that even such a discount did not interest at least one thousand people. And this once again indicates that people do not need gaming services, but single-player games about superheroes, like Batman Arkham or Marvel's Spider-Man.
