Insiders confirm extremely weak pre-order sales for Dragon Age: The Veilguard
The cult fantasy RPG series Dragon Age is finally returning after a long lull. Already this year, a new part of the franchise will be released called Dragon Age: The Veilguard, which should surprise players with a variety of locations, continuation of the main story and well-developed companions. The game is already available for pre-order, however, despite Dragon Age's huge fan base, pre-orders leave much to be desired. Several insiders report that early sales of the game are close to "catastrophe."
The weak pre-orders of Dragon Age: The Veilguard are reported by a blogger under the nickname Doctor Disaster, who specializes in Electronic Arts projects and is a former official content maker of the program EA collaboration. He said he has received reliable information from several retailers who are reporting meager pre-orders for the game. They also complained about a weak advertising campaign that actually does not attract new players, but only scares away fans.

Doctor Disaster's words are confirmed by Side Scrollers podcast host Craig Skistimas . He received information from other retailers who also complained about weak pre-orders for Star Wars Outlaws and Assassin's Creed Shadows. According to Skistimas, sales of Dragon Age: The Veilguard are now even worse than those of the controversial Ubisoft games.
