The head of the Saber studio, which created WH40K: Space Marine 2, is tired of games that impose their morals and ethics on players
Matt Karch, CEO and founder of Saber Interactive, expressed his vision of what the game should be, condemning those who seek to send messages or impose their moral vision. To do this, he commented on a video by influencer Asmongold, who in his comments praised Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine 2, the recently released Saber game that has been a huge success and sold several million copies in just a couple of days after release. According to Asmongold himself, this game is the best reminder of what video games have lost.
Karch's view is especially interesting because it fully reflects a certain view of the development of video games, also recently shown well on example of the success of Black Myth: Wukong (which he, in fact, mentions in his comment).
His comment was joined by other members of the development team, who also thanked Asmongold for his words, which, apparently , fully describe the spirit in which Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine 2 was developed over four and a half years.
