Mia's picture book could be the key to unraveling the plot: there are new details about Resident Evil 8

Weekly Famitsu Magazine recently published an article about additional information Resident Evil Village. But twitter user Alex Aniel translated the published material for all fans of the game. 

• Chris brings Ethan to a mysterious mountain village.
• At this time, Ethan is unconscious, and when he wakes up, he follows the path to get to the village.
• Famitsu has a picture of villagers holding hands in a circle and praying along with dangerous creatures protecting them. It looks like a cult.
• There is a caped villager who can sell items to Ethan.
• Mia's picture book may be the key to the game's plot. It tells a story similar to what Ethan encounters during his visit to the village.
• There is an old shaman woman with a skull staff who will play a different role than the caped guy.

Producers didn't go into details about the "Merchant" doppelgänger; in Resident Evil 8, but they say Ethan's life will depend on it. They also hint that the villagers may also say prayers to protect themselves from danger. As for dangerous creatures, although they cannot speak the language, they will behave like a pack/swarm and can also wield weapons.
