Online Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 in Steam reached almost 100 thousand players

When Sandfall Interactive introduced Clair Obscur: Expections 33, the studio did not hide its inspiration sources: the classic games of the Final Fantasy and the Persona series from Atlus were among the main sources of inspiration for its first game. But even in the most daring dreams, the team could not imagine such a stunning start.

According to Steamdb, Expections 33 reached 98,591 simultaneous players in Steam - and this number continues to grow because the weekend barely began. For a new studio with completely new intellectual property and in the genre that many considered saturated, it is simply colossal.

for comparison: Clair Obscur has already surpassed the peak number of simultaneous players among all Atlus games in Steam. This includes Persona 3 Reload (45,000 players) and even Metaphor: Refantazio, which reached a peak of 85 961.
