Players made fun of Naughty Dog for the presence of the main character of Intergalactic on a Christmas card

Naughty Dog, one of the famous game developers, recently faced a massive backlash associated with the release of the first trailer for Intergalactic: The Heretic Prophet. The fandom is concerned that the developer is now completely mired in DEI.

Naughty Dog recently took to Twitter to wish fans a happy holiday with concept art featuring Intergalactic's leading lady. Because of this, fans trolled the developer in the comments section.

While there are many fans who appreciated the congratulations and responded with a sense of humor, some were more negative due to the presence of the main character of Intergalactic: The Heretic Prophet. Additionally, the company appears to be hiding such comments, which shows that the controversy is far from over.

Fans also point out that Tati Gabrielle recently posted a rather controversial story. The context and content of the story all but confirmed that the game was focused on DEI. This has started another big controversy and now fans are also targeting Tati.

This whole controversy is likely to get out of hand as the game's dislike rate has already far surpassed Concord's record. We've already seen what happens to games that use this technique, so it doesn't look good for Naughty Dog.

The hate is constantly growing, although little has been revealed about the game itself. Gamers are the de facto audience for games, so developers should always focus on their feedback and what they value.
