& quot; It was our mistake & quot;: Inzoi authors publicly apologized and abandoned Denuvo after criticism of the community
Inzoi developers still decided to remove Denuvo from their game. The producer Kim Hongjun wrote a whole letter to the players, where he explained that they at first thought to protect honest buyers from the pirates, but somehow did not take into account that the community would be against the introduction of this protection.
The main reason for this turn was that many players worried about modding. And apparently, the developers agreed that freedom of creativity is more important than the fight against piracy. They even admitted that they themselves were to blame - it was necessary to immediately warn about Denuvo, and not add it quietly.
And Hyongjun also mentioned that they were going to officially maintain mods from the May renewal. He personally “treats modding very positively” and believes that this will help inzoi live longer. They promise to tell about the details a little later, after the launch of early access.
