Rumor: Another trilogy of Tomb Raider remasters is coming
Apparently, Aspyr Media and Crystal Dynamics are preparing another trilogy in addition to Tomb Raider IV-V-VI Remastered. The Amazon listing says there will be another trilogy of remasters, likely to be released before the all-new adventures of archaeologist Lara Croft.
This year we saw a remastered Tomb Raider I-III, and in February 2025 it will be released updated version of Tomb Raider IV-V-VI. After that, according to Amazon, a third trilogy will be released. It will include Tomb Raider: Legend, Tomb Raider: Anniversary and Tomb Raider: Underworld from the Xbox 360 and PlayStation era. Again in one package with improved graphics and controls.
Tomb Raider Legend Trilogy has been spotted on Amazon, which has created a product page for the new remastered trilogy. However, the page has been deleted, which only fuels rumors about the existence of a next remaster package for the Tomb Raider series. Interestingly, the above deleted card mentions the Nintendo Switch platform, but, apparently, the collection will also appear on PC, PlayStation and Xbox.
As is usually the case, while there is no official confirmation, all this should be taken as a surprise more than rumors, although the presence of a remaster of the Tomb Raider Legend trilogy would not be surprising, given the remasters of Tomb Raider 1-3 and Tomb Raider 4-6.
