The decisions you make in Exodus will play an important role in the development of the story
At the end of last year, Exodus was announced - a role-playing game in the space action genre from former BioWare employees, creators of the studio's most popular space opera - Mass Effect. According to the developers, the game will offer "the best sci-fi universe possible" and also includes co-creators of the Halo and Call of Duty series. Now a new video has been published in which the creators shed light, in particular, on the decision-making system.
Archetype Entertainment co-founders Chad Robertson and James Olen talked about how important the decisions made will play in Exodus.
The developers also commented on several other topics, among which the question of aliens is especially interesting. In fact, their presentation in Exodus will be somewhat different from other sci-fi games, since they are not inherently "aliens." They can be compared to how humanity “turned wolves into Chihuahua dogs.”
Unfortunately, what the developers said is very vague and does not contain any specific examples. Let's remember that Exodus plans to take into account the phenomenon of the so-called “time dilation”, in which the choice made can have consequences extending decades into the future.
Exodus is being developed for PC, PS5 and XSX/S. Nothing is known yet about the release date of the game.
