The developers of Alan Wake 2 suddenly showed a mysterious teaser trailer for Control 2
When no one expected it, developers from the Finnish studio Remedy Entertainment decided to surprise players with a sudden demonstration of the first video for the expected sequel to Control. The authors did not publish it in the traditional way on popular video hosting sites, but instead hid it inside the recently released The Lake House add-on for Alan Wake 2. The first teaser trailer for Control 2 leaves more questions than it answers, but many fans were interested in seeing it.
The teaser for the continuation of Control can be seen during the passage of The Lake House add-on for Alan Wake 2. To be more precise, the video appears in the interrogation scene with the participation of Dylan Faden, the same brother of the main character of Control. In the cutscene, he asks to tell his sister that he “really tried,” after which a mysterious video begins, which, apparently, is the first trailer for Control 2.
The teaser shows a huge section of the street where - somewhere in New York, which may hint at the location of the future game. If the events of the first game took place inside the FBC building, then in the sequel they may take place in more open locations. Despite the short duration of the video, it was enough to spark an active discussion among fans who are trying to unravel the hints and Easter eggs left behind.
When to expect the release of Control 2 is not yet entirely clear. In addition to this project, Remedy Entertainment also has FBC: Firebreak and remakes of the first Max Payne in development.
