The first screenshots and box art of the remaster The Elder Scrolls 4: Oblivion appeared on the Web

After the months of rumors and speculation, the reprint of The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion became not just a dream of fans - it became a reality. For the first time, we got a chance to look at the updated version of the cult RPG thanks to the leakage from the developer studio itself.

The Reddit user with the nickname Taurnil noticed that on the website of the Virtuos Games studio, known for work on remasters and ports, the screenshots of remake were accidentally published. The pictures quickly deleted, but the fans managed to save them and smash them throughout the Internet.

Judging by the leak, Oblivion Remake is developed using a modern engine and significantly improved graphics. The images are demonstrated by the updated locations of the syrodil, more realistic lighting, processed models of the characters and the familiar architecture of the Imperial City.

so far there are no official statements from Bethesda or Virtuos, but now there is no doubt: return to syrodil is only a matter of time. Scrolls 4: Oblivion Remastered will be released on PC, PS5, Xbox Series (in Game Pass)
