Silent Hill 2 remake sales exceeded 1 million copies within 3 days of release

After a long wait, the Silent Hill 2 remake is finally out. The game was well received by players and specialist critics, receiving much praise for the way it reimagined this classic.

Konami and Bloober Team have now reported that the game has reached an impressive sales milestone. As announced, Silent Hill 2 Remake has already reached the 1 million sales mark worldwide, including both digital sales and physical copies shipped.

Figures refer to October 11th, meaning they represent the first 3 days after launch and should be even higher at the moment.
