The first major content update has been released for Space Marine 2 with performance improvements and a new mission
The developers of Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine have released their first major post-launch content update, adding a new co-op mission and additional content. The new operation will take place on the planet Kadak, where players will have to fight the Tyranid bio-titan. Heroes will be able to use artillery to win, adding tactical depth to battles.
At the same time, a “Deadly” difficulty level has been added for co-op missions, where enemies become stronger and resources are limited. Restoring armor is now only possible near allies, which requires more coordinated actions from players. For successful completion on this difficulty, you can receive unique cosmetic rewards.
The game has also added a photo mode for cooperative missions, and improved the balance, which after the third patch made them too easy. In the future, it is planned to add a new Neo-Volkite pistol.
In addition, the developers have worked on PvP balance, AI behavior, and also added more options for customizing Chaos Space Marines, including new paint jobs. Improved overall game performance, fixed bugs and technical problems.
