The alpha version of the RTX remaster of Vampire The Masquerade: Bloodlines has become available

For fans of Vampire The Masquerade: Bloodlines, there is good news today. Modder Safemilk has released the alpha version of his RTX Remix mod for this classic RPG.

Like all RTX Remix mods, this one will add full ray tracing/path tracing to Bloodlines. However, since this is an alpha release, there may be numerous visual glitches. Additionally, it doesn't reflect what RTX Remix can achieve. At least in its current state. The modder calls it a "rough" release.

For example, VTM:B uses an alpha channel as an emissive mask for many of the game's textures. So the modder did a rough pass to convert them into emission maps and applied them to the corresponding textures.
