Gabe Newell commented on the never-released Episode 3 for Half-Life 2

Half-Life 2 celebrates its 20th anniversary, and as a gift, Valve is giving away a free copy of the game and its two DLCs, Episode 1 and Episode 2. Taking advantage of the moment, Gabe Newell commented on the never-released Episode 3.

< p>For Valve's founder to make Episode 3 just to wrap up the story would be a bit lazy. However, he admits that he's stuck on how to continue the franchise in a way that truly takes things forward.

In the newest Half-Life 2 documentary, Valve revealed several scenes from the making of Episode 3 . You can see that the game had an ice cannon that players could use to create barriers or ramps.
