The best games of 2024 - voting begins!

The traditional voting, in which you, PlayGround.ru users, choose the best games of the outgoing year, begins! In 18 categories, we have collected the most interesting projects of this year, each of which is worthy of attention. But there can only be one winner.

This year was not without changes and innovations. You chose the nominees for the main category “GAME OF THE YEAR” yourself through free voting, which you can find out about in this post. In the end, we simply took the 14 games that received the most votes.

New nominations in the voting were Best Domestic Game, Best Mods and “Optimization” of the year. The content of the first is obvious, the second contains interesting large-scale modifications released in 2024. Well, the latter contained games whose performance left much to be desired.

Voting will last until January 5, inclusive. Its results will be announced in the final post on the website in text and video format. But what about the traditional video, released on the evening of December 31st for so many years in a row? And it will happen too.

On the last day of the outgoing year, we will release a video dedicated to interesting events and important topics. We'll talk about the games that most impressed the editors, share our results for this year, as well as our hopes and plans for the coming year. But all this will happen on December 31.
