The creators of Hogwarts Legacy asked for a "Favorite Child" award. - in response to this, PC players offered them a “Clown Medal”
The season of nominations for various awards has recently begun on Steam. The creators of Hogwarts Legacy, Avalanche Software, asked PC players to vote for the game in the “Favorite Child” category. According to the description on Steam, this category is intended for games whose creators support the game with updates and content, adding something new to it and caring for it “like their child.”
The players were outraged by the developers’ request: Since the game's release, the studio hasn't released many updates for Hogwarts Legacy, and only one of them added new content to the game, more than a year after the game's release. However, it was initially cut from the game due to an agreement with Sony, during which Playstation players received an exclusive side quest.
In addition, players asked for Quidditch and various activities to be added to the game, but Quidditch ended up Warner Bros. decided to sell it as a separate game, and, apparently, players will see all the significant improvements only in the sequel. Players also asked to remove Denuvo from the game, but this request has not yet been fulfilled.
Players consider it real impudence on the part of the developers to ask to vote for Hogwarts Legacy in this category, taking into account all of the above. Instead of "Beloved Child" players offered the developers a “Clown Medal”:
Judging by the mood of users, Warner Bros, Avalanche Software and Hogwarts Legacy are not promising anything from PC players this year.
